flexible by trade and autonomous in my own rights

I investigate the structural limitations and hierarchical constraints of institutional theatre, questioning long-standing norms that have shaped the industry. My research seeks to redefine the role of the scenographer, shifting it from a supporting function to an autonomous artistic force capable of crafting immersive spatial dramaturgies beyond traditional performance frameworks.
Through site-responsive installations and perception-driven scenographic environments, my work challenges audience expectations, activating critical thinking and heightened spatial awareness. Rather than serving as a backdrop, scenography in my practice becomes a living entity, engaging in direct dialogue with the audience.
Rooted in an exploration of systemic inequalities and power dynamics, my research extends beyond theatre, examining how scenographic methodologies can deconstruct and reimagine power structures across social and political landscapes. By critically engaging with institutionalized frameworks, I aim to provoke conversations, question artistic hierarchies, and contribute to scenography’s evolution as an independent artistic discipline.
