paradiso

site-specific installation by gian maria tosatti  /

Paradiso is a monumental site-specific installation by Gian Maria Tosatti, occupying 3,000 square meters within the former Magazzini Raccordati at Milan Central Station.

The work presents a dystopian image of paradise in the present, where ideal perspectives have collapsed. Transforming abandoned industrial space into a contemplative environment, Paradiso continues Tosatti’s engagement with political, spiritual, and environmental urgencies.

Irina Komissarova contributed to the project during her internship at Studio Tosatti, working across multiple stages of production between spatial development and on site realisation. Her role supported the continuity and execution of the work within a large-scale and technically demanding installation process.
